Celebrating International Day of Education

On January 24th, the global community comes together to celebrate the power of education. At Heritage-Life Support Initiative, we joined forces with Community Grammar School, Faji, Osun State, Good Deeds Day, and other partners to mark this special day.

Empowering Teachers and Learners
We organized a capacity-building training for teachers, focusing on strategies to achieve excellence in the 21st century. Topics covered included:

  • The 17 SDGs and 169 targets
  • SDG4: Quality Education
  • Gender issues
  • Effective use of school records
  • Communication strategies.
  • Establishing Good Deeds Day school club.

Introducing AI to the Next Generation
Pupils of Community Grammar School, Faji in Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun state, Nigeria were treated to training sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI), led by expert @Joseph Adeboye of Cleannation Foundation .
They learned about the importance of AI and participated in practical classes, showcasing their enthusiasm and talent.

Building a Brighter Future
As we celebrate International Day of Education, we’re reminded of the critical role education plays in achieving the SDGs. We’re committed to empowering teachers and learners alike, ensuring quality education for all.
