Our programmatic activities include raising awareness campaign in schools, religious centers, communities, markets etc. on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Rape, Teenage pregnancy and providing psychological support for victims and survivors of violence against women and girls. Other sensitization programs include raising voices against women in politics.

In November, we participated in the 16 Days Activism against FGM, Rape and Domestic Violence.

Teenage pregnancy is one of the vices that is plaguing our society now and the most common factors are poverty, poor socio-economic background, negative influence of technology viz-a-viz internet, social media. Sensitizations took place in schools and religious centers on the effects of teenage pregnancy and the need for children, youth and especially persons living with disabilities to be extra careful and vigilant. This sensitization was done during 16 days of Media Engagement Awareness Campaign on social media. This sensitization provided psychosocial support for survivors of violence against women and girls (VAWG); A middle-aged women who had been suffering from domestic violence from her husband and a 17-year-old adolescent who had suffered multiple sexual abuse from a distant relative.
