In celebration of International Women’s Day ,at HELSI, we believe in the transformative power of empowerment. HELSI is totally committed and dedicated to supporting women,including women with disabilities in our communities.
Women Empowerment through Recycling Grants.
Our recycling grants program provides women in the Faji community with financial support to grow their businesses. This initiative fosters economic empowerment,sustainability, and social responsibility, creating a ripple effect of positive change in our larger society.
Other activities are:
Community and school awareness programmes on “Female Genital Mutilation,” Education for Justice(E4J): Drug Abuse and Menstrual Hygiene, and donation of thirty(30) menstrual pads to the women and school girls.
