HELSI organized different sensitizations and campaigns on voter education, vote buying/selling, misinformation and fake news rumours, misconceptions, cyber bullying, violence in politics in schools and communities. HELSI also participated in the Osun State Governorship election as one of the CSOs engaged as observers by the CDD in Ola Oluwa L.G.A in Osun State (LG Group lead).

In partnership with other women-led CSOs in Osun State, as well as Pan African Group, HELSI participated in a South-Africa not-for-profit organization to stage a peaceful walk to clamour for a peaceful, credible, transparent, free and fair election in Osun State.
